Named after Louis’s late father, Jian, Naij represents quiet confidence and a deep rooted connection to nature, embodying thoughtful craftsmanship and embedding the essence of the natural world. Its modular design offers versatility and elegance; each pendant can stand alone or combine with other elements of the line, enabling limitless configurations for striking installations that can be transformative to any space.

Louis Duncan-He is a Calgary based, award-winning designer with international recognition. His interior design studio Louis Duncan-He Designs has earned numerous accolades. Louis designed the Naij Collection to bridge a gap in lighting design with sculptural, tension-filled pieces that blend artistry and function. As one of Canada’s leading residential designers, Louis aimed to create fixtures that serve both as lighting as well as sculptural art installations, noting the scarcity of options that balance both qualities within the elusive $4,000 price point. This scarcity became apparent as Louis frequently struggled to fill this gap for his own clients
